Potholes have long plagued the roads of Bengaluru, causing frustration and inconvenience for residents and commuters alike. With the city's rapid growth and bustling traffic, addressing these road hazards has become a pressing issue. However, the major challenge in tackling this problem has been the difficulty in effectively identifying and locating potholes across the city.
Dareesoft, a pioneering Road hazard information provider, is determined to revolutionize the way Bengaluru deals with its pothole problem. Leveraging its innovative technology called RiaaS (Road Hazard Information as a Service), Dareesoft has hoping high to go on a mission to transform the city's infrastructure maintenance.
At the heart of Dareesoft's solution is the utilization of AI and cutting-edge technologies like IoT, connectivity and Big Data. The company has developed a specialized device known as the AI Road Analyzer (ARA), which is installed in moving vehicles. This device is equipped to detect various hazards, including potholes, cracks, and debris, with remarkable accuracy. The captured hazard information is then transmitted in real-time to end-users, providing precise locations and additional relevant details.
What sets Dareesoft apart is its ability to deliver instantaneous results. By simply driving a car equipped with the ARA device, Dareesoft is able to capture images of potholes along with their exact locations in real-time. This streamlined approach significantly expedites the process of identifying and addressing road hazards.
In its initial Proof of Concept (PoC) phase in Bengaluru, Dareesoft has already made significant strides. Within a few kilometers of Bengaluru roads, the company has successfully pinpointed 21 potholes and identified 101 other hazards. These findings underscore the effectiveness of Dareesoft's approach in addressing Bengaluru's unique challenges.
Moreover, Dareesoft's PoC is just the tip of the iceberg. The company envisions scaling its operations to encompass a larger area and deploying a greater number of ARA devices once the technology is approved by Bengaluru city. This expansion promises to make the commercial project exponentially more effective, as it will significantly increase both the coverage and frequency of hazard detection.
While other companies have attempted to tackle Bengaluru's pothole problem using AI technology, Dareesoft stands out for its tailored approach which is providing an end-to-end service with a dedicated device which is capable of transferring the data in real time. RiaaS is a futuristic technology which Dareesoft has given to the world today. Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India seems a perfect match for this technology. Will the Silicon valley of India accept this technology.
